More and more people today are being called through the stressful circumstances of life to do our inner work. We know scientifically that our relationship with life is a reflection of our inner attitudes and beliefs. The problems in the world are being addressed more and more by individuals through self awareness and self practice.
Sadhana in the tantric path is the process or practice of self illumination. It is very helpful to stay soft and to be gentle with your self when you are doing spiritual work as you allow, accept and embrace the shadow aspects of your self as a victim. Raising your energetic frequency follows a pathway of awareness. When we get tense or too serious about any aspect of life there is a tendency to cling, judge, identify or attach to the shadow. Give your self a break and the result is love through your own self loving.
Through the different layers of self processing it is essential to give relaxing time and space for integration. It is common to have ahah moments or enlightening realizations. Let your self just be and feel the qualities of awareness that relate to what is being transmuted. Notice how you feel, rest and relax and let your self settle into compassion and appreciation.

With a practice like conscious connected breathing the feeling experience can be ecstatic as more energy is rushing through our being. This can be very blissful and also depending on your attitude and what is moving, the feeling experience can even be intense. Relaxation plays an important part role physically, mentally and emotionally because relaxing your breathing keeps the body relaxed as it unconsciously tells your body that you are safe as you are potentially freeing old patterns of heaviness.
As we begin to practice techniques that are new it is a very good idea to be supported by the guidance of a reputable teacher or Facilitator that is trained and experienced.
I can offer you a recorded audio guide that will take you into your own experience but in order to completely open, balance and clear old limited patterns of breathing related to ways of being it is very helpful to have a witness that can help support you in the opening in order to enjoy a comfortable journey of experience.

We must let our selves get a little crazy these says as things can be a little crazy these days. And we also must let our selves slow down and relax to more completely nourish and care for our selves. As we do so we find that our relationships are easier and more balanced, we find more energy and passion to work with as we serve others and as a result the world is becoming more a peaceful and joyful place.

These powerful 5 day journeys circulate the true innate power of life and wisdom while cleansing old ideas. We are in an important time to transcend the paradigm we are currently living in. During this Time of Transition we are called to rise up in our own power, our individual purposes for being here and reconnect to our inner guidance, opening our hearts and minds as we are tuning into the new frequencies of this new dawn through the cellular matrix of our bodies.

A complete ceremonial Training to become a professional facilitator of Conscious Connected Breathing. Come for 1 or 2 Levels based on your intent. This breath retreat and teacher training is a 1-2 week offering to our selves deep into a ceremonial practice and evolutionary boost with the innate healing power of your own vibrational medicine. We offer up our highest intentions for all our relations and lift each other up with the powerful and balanced healing art of Conscious Connected Breathing. The only prerequisite for this retreat is to establish a clear intention and fill out the Application form. Level 1 participants in the retreat are not required to stay for Level 2 but are encouraged to stay for an extra day on the land for a smooth integration back onto your path with wilderness activities, massage and down time. Establish the breath as a companion, ally and tool for life.

The intention of Level 1 is to establish a daily conscious breathing practice for next level inner guidance and higher awareness at this time of great awakening and change. These 2, 50 hour intensives of breath training consist of both levels of the Conscious Connected Breathing program to become a certified Breath Facilitator.

Level 1, The Self Healing Path

July 15 – 20,  

 A 5 day Ceremonial Intensive retreat focused on breathing and moving through the 5 main elements in the body and establishing the breath as an effective tool for managing your own life. This Level is essential to the learning process, integration and integrity of this life long tool and potential service to others.

Level 2, The Facilitators Path

July 21 – 26,  

 This 5 day 50 hour intensive training is packed with the tools to facilitate Conscious Connected Breathing. Designed for professionals to learn the necessary tools to support others as a breath coach. We continue to dive deep in ceremony with the opportunity to breathe and facilitate the breath each day. – Daily yoga, group council, song, dance and other integrative tools guide our journey. – Through Breath Translation and coaching skills we learn from the patterns that arise in the breath and how to hold space for what is moving while deeply trusting in the Universal intelligence of the human bodies innate wisdom. We encourage an extra day on the land nourished by the food, the tribe, hands on healing (massage) and down time for smooth integration.

‘Breathing is medicine and my body likes to breathe’

So easily overlooked is the effective medicine of our own breathing. So simple that it is easy to forget. There are many different ways of breathing, most breath patterns are unconscious, limited and controlled. Being consciously involved in our breath in any way is highly beneficial for the mental, emotional and physical body.
On a physical level conscious breathing improves the circulation of vital oxygen, therfore is the most effective remedy for any cardiovascular symptoms such as high or low blood pressure, hypertension, arythmia etc. Full respiratory breathing also improves digestion, eliminates toxins, massages internal organs and balances hormonal secretion through every area of the endocrine system, therefore nourishing each and every organ and emotional centre with the feel good chemistry of health and radiance.
The body just simply likes to breathe. The key is to learn how to breathe from a reputable source. There is a difference between thinking about breathing and really being involved in your breath. To breathe in a balanced way and to notice where you might be controlling, resisting or forcing in the body can literally change your life. Choosing to surrender creates un an inner freedom that allows for physical and psychological disorders to improve and often dissappear all together. Patterns of control and hard work can have an adverse effect that is not optimal for many reasons. Tension in our breathing restricts overall blood flow and limits our ability to relax. The ability to relax may be the most important quality for health, wellbeing and overall balance. When the body relaxes all acupuncture energy channels are free and any pathological patterns are reversed resulting in radiant health, more energy and positive emotions.
You may realize that it is natural to bring things to this present moment that don’t belong to you. Ideas of self worth, labels and judgements. One of the major benefits of Conscious Breathing is reprogramming the subconscious mind, recycling the worn out old tapes of conditioned ideas and beliefs.
Now that we know that our thoughts literally create our biology we know that we are recreating our life and our health as we chose. Having a regular practice of Conscious Breathing is a very powerful gift.

We encourage another 2 days on the land nourished by the food, the rivers, hands on healing (massage) and down time for smooth integration.

This 50-hour training includes;
Foundational Breathwork theory, philosophy, and techniques, including experiential education in:
* the technique of conscious, connected breathing
* related breathing techniques that support and complement conscious, connected breathing
* self inquiry and empowering questions
* reading the body and breath
* developing the ability to perceive the imbalances/”story” in the body and breath

These 2 levels as a full 10 day, 100 hour experiential training is a profound healing and learning experience that will give you what is necessary to develop an abundantly rewarding profession as a breath facilitator and guide for others.

Level 1 participants in the retreat are not required to stay for Level 2

Requirements for Entrance into Level 2 – The Conscious, Connected Breathwork Facilitator Training to be completed prior to the first day of Breathwork training are as follows:
-Completion of the Conscious, Connected Breathwork Facilitator Training Application form
-Previous participation in at least five (5) facilitated conscious, connected breathwork sessions (in any related style of breathwork (i.e. Breathwave, Holotropic, Rebirthing, Clarity, Shamanic, Integrative, Aletheia, Transformational, etc.)) or completion of Level 1
-Previous education, training, and/or work experience that will support your ability to safely and effectively facilitate breathwork (e.g. massage/bodywork, counselling, yoga teacher training, alternative medical training, or similar/equivalent) (This requirement regarding training is flexible for those that demonstrate solid capacity but may not have yet completed other training – decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis)

Each application will be reviewed thoroughly and, if deemed necessary, you may be asked to complete additional practices and/or Level 1 prior to being granted entrance into Level 2 of the Conscious, Connected Breathwork Training Program.

Halfmoon Haven Pricing Details

Rates are $75 per person per day. Plus $50 per day for the catering service of 3 meals.
This comes to a total of $750 for 6 nights as our base cost.
Extra days to integrate on the land are an additional fee of $125 for food and lodging.
There are 14 spaces available at the shared room rate.

There is additional dorm style rates available for camping, rvs, and dorm rooms at a rate of $55 per person per night. There are 6 spots available at this rate.
For dorm style rate your food and accommodations package is $630
All participants will have the option to stay one extra night for the Sunday which will include the extra cost.
Minimum exchange for the Training is $700 per week on top of the base cost for food and lodging. For this retreat comes to – $1250 per Level
Monthly payment plan scholarship plan is an option if you need help with the $700 exchange.
Each participant is required to pay the full cost of food and lodging on first day of arrival for registration.

Sacred Partnership

The essence

Sacred Partnership
We are here to love, learn and grow with each other. Sacred partnership is a commitment to our evolutionary nature.
We are in relationship at all times with all things.

In order to have a conscious partnership or sacred partnership with any thing we must first establish a conscious relationship with our selves. Intimacy with the nature of life comes with a willingness to transform and learn from the ancestral suffering that has been held in our cellular body. Sacred partnership is vital to the evolution of human consciousness.

Buddha realized 4 truths when he awakened.
1. Human life consists of Suffering
2. There is an end to suffering
3. The end of suffering is the removal of the causes of suffering
4. The eight fold path of yoga – a recipe for liberation.

For me sacred partnership began along with the study and practice of yoga. At this same time in my early 20’s I was also invited to frequently attend sweat lodge ceremony. Both of these practices over the years helped me peal away layers of worn out stories and beliefs and brought me closer to the ground, closer to my breath and at home in my heart instead of being lost in my mind. Eventually I realized that these rituals were a way of making love with Creator or Source energy – the creative force that governs all life. Any powerful and effective practice within the field of health and wellness is grounded in science and taught through life experience from teacher to student. My intention in learning yoga and participating in sweat lodge ceremony was to deepen my relationship with my self and life’s mysterious ways. I knew from the results of how I felt when I experienced these practices that I was more alive, more clear and more aligned somehow with the natural forces of life. So I worked on my self for me. Quite the opposite of the ways I had learned to escape my body, yoga and group ritual practices remind us to be present and listen to our bodies as well as each other.
My real learning began when I decided it was time to share a deeper connection with another. All of my patterns of ego and what I thought to be true was challenged by the women in my life as I opened my self up to transform ego into respect and service to others. Through this process of healing my greatest helpers along side these women in my life were the ocean and my breath.

Today I can gratefully claim that the search is over, that my walks beside is my divine life partner. Every relationship I have experienced has prepared me to live in right relationship with all things through this communion with my beloved.

What I have learned is that sacred partnership starts with our selves, with an intimate relationship with source through our own breath.
Life is no longer about getting more but letting more. The search is not about what we can get from any relationship but rather what we can give and how we can serve. I believe we came into this life with everything we need. A new born baby is the magnificent technology of perfection, just as is each women to give life, here to express in form and enjoy the process of life. Fundamentally we need each other to thrive.

To be in right relationship is to give back for what we share and receive. In the culture I grew up in we forgot how to give back. I learned to be a consumer, to take what I needed and throw away what I had used. What has brought me more pleasure than anything in this life is the opportunities that life brings to help others breathe and awaken to their true nature and gradually feel more comfortable with true power. We are made of light, the same particles as the stars and we came here to shine. Many relationships are a misuse of power. In the west we are not taught right relationship, we are taught to compete in a world that is a survival of the fittest. We can not just keep taking from our Mother or soon she will be done with us and simply shake us off. When we learn to garden we learn the cycle of the seasons, we learn that we must till the soil before we plant seeds and that the seeds must be cared for, weeded and nourished before we reap the harvest of our relationship. What we don’t use we give back to the soil and what should not be thrown back in the soil is recycled.

Our emotions move like water. In a sacred partnership it is essential to communicate; to listen to one another and express our feelings and emotions – Communication with Spirit otherwise known as the power of ‘prayer’ cycles in the same natural way. We must listen to what comes back and how consciousness organizes around our prayers. We must listen for signs and believe in the power of what wants to be born. Reciprocity is not just about forgiveness but also involves a reciprocal relationship of seeing each other’s highest self without our old stories and trauma. This work of clarity and respect in relationship requires an underlying commitment to allow for our humans lives to transform, for our personal expectations and ego to dissolve through self love, personal practice and a deep intimacy with life’s secret ways. We must express what our needs are to each other so that we can meet and have these needs met.
Love is the most misunderstood word in the human language. It is incredibly helpful to understand what our own definition of love is and to communicate this with those we love in order for our needs to be met.

Grandmother Kaariina taught me 2 very powerful tools for relationship, group processing and community. (In my experience with many intentional communities and sacred partnerships that ended these 2 components or tools for communication were missing);
1. The way of council – a circular form of passing the spoken word for all participants to listen, express and be heard.
2. Non Violent Communication – To express and receive communication empathically using the four-part Nonviolent Communication process developed by Marshall B. Rosenberg, Ph.D.

The greatest gifts I have been given in this life I have received from Spirit including a beloved garden of Eden. The best teachers have reminded me that we are just channels for Spirit to reveal it self more fully and clearly, in all of the wild or calm ways in which it wants to express. The greatest things we can do for each other aside from seeing and loving each others gifts and bringing them into the world together is helping each other peal away that which is covering up what has always been here. The ancient wisdom of the ancestors lives in our bones and the power of the sun in our hearts.

May we all be seen and met fully, may we forgive our selves and let go of our disappointments and our only expectations will be the power of our prayers to manifest heaven on earth for a complete and whole human family, for many generations to come and for all of those who have walked before us.

It is a wonderful pleasure to share in celebration and to be in sweet relation with all of my relations at this time of great transformation and awakening.

Deep Gratitude to all Sacred Partners – May we enjoy our relationships and may our sacred marriage be the fullness of being on earth, of loving each other as our spiritual selves having a human experience. Let our sex be a spiritual practice of our connection with the divine. May we do our own yoga, not someone else’s yoga and may we live our own dream. We came here to manifest it together but let there be spaces in our togetherness.

The relationship we all share with Creator is where it all begins and continues. And when we are all in Sacred Partnership with the earth and all elements that sustain this life we will manifest heaven on earth once again for all sentient beings.

Self Love, Self Care – A Daily Breathing Practice

In your body as it is even if you are physically disabled you can find the means to cheer your self up and cure any depth of depression and doubt.

Many of us still today are programmed with over stimulation and habitual ways of covering up what we are really feeling. Therefore we find our selves stressed and disconnected. Temporary unconscious pleasure through eating, television, drinking, sex, drugs, smart phones and other addictions leave us emotionally unsatisfied and drained with even less time and energy.

Cheering up is not based on artificial will power or external circumstances. Your own body contains the foundation and means to cultivate basic goodness. It is the closet tool you have to experience real pleasure, joy and fundamental balance. Taking care of and appreciating your body is important but can also be very simple. We are much too hard on our selves about what we should be doing. Sure the food you eat, the liquids you drink, getting proper exercise and quality time with others is all important. You don’t have to jog, do push ups or an hour of yoga every day to have an attitude of caring for your body and your life. Making love to your self can be very simple. Maybe all you need for a little extra self care is some down time for 10mins or a hot bath.

Here is an opportunity for small increments of self love; bring your attention to your breathing for just 5 minutes twice a day. Observe the in breath filling you up and the exhale emptying you out effortlessly without having to do any work, focus on the inhale, keep your exhale relaxed. You can either breathe in and out the mouth or in and out the nose and just let the breath be natural (this can be done sitting or laying down). Your mind will carry you off at times, keep an attitude of self love without judging how you are ‘doing’. Bring your attention back, again and again to the sensations of breath moving up and down, opening and cleansing all energy centers from your base to the top of your head. As you practice this simple breathing daily for just 5-10 mins at least once a day (I suggest twice a day for up to 20 mins) you will gradually find that you are more relaxed, centred and aware as your natural state of being.

This is the most simple, accessible, inexpensive and effective way to care for your self. It is so simple that we forget. Remember. You don’t have to achieve anything, you don’t have to get anywhere else, just simply be with what is. You don’t have to quiet the mind, you will never win that battle. Just bring the gift of your attention to how life force and oxygen fill you up and empty you out. Observe what happens. We could go on about the science and the physical benefits of relaxed breathing but just experience it for your self and notice how you feel. You may just be amazed at the magic that you have always had. I am always happy to answer questions about the simplicity of breath or offer deeper guidance. Emerging out of and in and out again from the wilderness of my own retreat I am able to integrate for myself all that is moving at this time. As my body relaxes more with every breath I am deeply humbled and held by the love and grace that supports us here, seen and unseen. I feel so empowered to bring my highest at this time.

There is wonderful momentum and focused arrows of intent to gather together on the land for The Breath Retreat and Teacher Training very soon. Spirit continues to confirm and support in many ways the present vision of this dream we share of presencing together in council as each others teachers, leaders, partners, friends, allies and family.

This time of solitude, alone time (all one ness) for me has been essential to sit with the feedback from all past offerings and breathe the next steps for the highest expression of service in alignment with the Great Mystery of how things are unfolding and evolving in the moment. We co-create this space for opening and healing together with clear communication, clear agreements of integrity with our highest and commitment to self growth. This container clearly has a beginning foundation of wealthy partnerships based on these council ways we know so well in our hearts; clear agreements, ethics, impeccability and integrity. We give thanks for these teachings that sing in our hearts and brings us home to circle around the fire together once again.

As the curriculum of this training evolves it is very clear that at least 2 levels are necessary for each participants personal process of learning and un-learning. We intrinsically understand the nature of the 5 elements and together in retreat we journey with the simple format of the elemental body from the ground up as a personal and tribal practice for embodiment. Through our enjoyment of guided meditation, chakra vinyasa yoga, dance, song, Breathwave and group council we experience the elements as a guide for personal awakening, each and every person brings the rest. Each participant brings all the perfect medicine to make each and every training differently magic. 
Spirit is asking us to continue to lead in this humble way of listening and channeling the teachings of the moment through presencing with the breath, music as medicine, sound healing, focused intent, prayer and invocation and a deep reverence for the great power of source. With tenderness and detachment we observe what arises as we give life to what wants to move and we set our selves free with our own love and attention. Eventually we may even be able to observe the observer.

Our example is our medicine and therefore the teachings we have gathered must be shared but not to form followers, to create more leaders who listen to their own yearning to empower all people to authentically share the unique medicine bundle that we carry. There are certain protocols that are necessary to honour the laws of the Universe and in this way of awareness following the ancient ones we honour our ancestors. As we continue on the path of learning and un-learning and the more we experience different medicine ways the more we realize that they all lead us to the same place of Oneness with life as it is now. This binding back to source can be taught, shared and experienced in many ways. There is no one way. 

Judith Kravitz would say that I have always been a bit of a rebel, maybe it is this innate resistance to confine to dogma. When I found the Temazcal I was home. When I found the breath I stopped searching for more ways. I will always honour and give thanks to these teachings that have gathered me and the sweet souls that shared the transmission. My belief is that each soul has a gift that is a unique and creative expression of the One, for the One.

There is no feeling more rewarding feeling that i know aside from assisting others in awakening the breath and all of benefits that accompanies this for each person uniquely. the feedback I am getting now is a clear confirmation of the safe space that is being held with appreciation of the insightful wisdom that comes through when it is appropriate. My experience in council is that eventually it is coming through us all equally. I am honoured to have been given a role of leadership as a wayshower. Someone needs to keep things spiralling when the momentum gets stuck, this is the dance of a shaman, humble and wise, alert and skilled. 

What I have learned and how I have grown just from this past year has been an escalator of essential steps. the key to the doorways of awakening has been my dedication to the path. I am now meeting my own needs and patiently waiting for my twin flame of power, presence, maturity, humility and depth in a Divine Goddess. I admit that I am drawn to the queen of any space and that this has been a primordial desire to re-unite with this force of polar balance as our highest experience here. The few women i have chosen to share deep intimacy with have been perfect matches to heal old wounds of unconscious needs unfulfilled. These partnerships have been exactly what we needed to feel and clear old stories and trauma related to sacred partnership and sexuality. The continued love and clear communication is like the sun the way it warms my heart, we have all come along way in just one generation. Misuse of power is over in this world and it is up to us to set this example. A new archetype of a man and women deeply in balance as polar opposites, respect and appreciation of each partners different qualities. We are now deeply in touch with the Universal power that governs all life and more intimately with softness, presence, respect, potency, playfulness, fierce love, surrender and trust. This Universal vision is founded in a solid and simple discipline of daily self love and care and a commitment to grow and evolve. What we experience in another is where we are at with our selves. Each relationship in our lives is an opportunity for presencing and clearing old stories and traumas of how we have related to intimacy in the past. The ego no longer struggles for control with strategies for power and acts of drama. When we are clear our experience becomes a divine celebration of all things beating as one heart.

Practicing is presencing and it is up to each of us. I love to be in the inspiration of the group dynamic and i hear the importance to keep our groups connected through the internet portal so that participants are inspired to keep up with the practice on their own after we move back into our separate lives. 

My message and is how to simplify a daily practice to make it more accessible to mainstream preventative health care. We need teams that stay together! Conscious ethics and principles that make practical sense can be simple…..For All our relations to do no harm makes practical sense; to live according to our highest potentials makes practical and universal sense.
The ethics are clear, the path is simple. The way is humble, the way is here.

During powerful times of change in our lives such as now, it is empowering to contemplate the teachings that our own family have given us. What has you Mother taught you in this life? Your father? Your siblings? Past Lovers?

My Mother has taught me love and more unconditional love! Faith in what is possible and how to surrender to a spiritual solution to problems. She has taught me that women must be given more space to teach us their wisdom and that we are truly nourished by the loving touch and affection of our beloveds.
My Father has taught me that excellence often calls for hard work, that we must compromise what we may want for our selves to serve others and care for the family and that we must slay our own demons and bring our shadow into the light or we could be unhappy until we die.
My brother has taught me sensitivity, compassion, brotherly love (bromance), not to settle for less and that when we are worried about how little things are going to turn out, our fears become reality.

It fills me to overflowing as i feel how the Breathwave is rippling through the fabric of our celestial tapestry. That we are bringing our Grandchildren into an environment of a higher vibration. That we are bringing more and more love without old stories into our gatherings. That our elders are thanking us for answering their prayers. That the young ones are caring for the elders and learning the ancient ways. And we are now living a new time of balance between all people’s that is rippling across the nations.

With our heart beat as a beacon we return home. It is time for us to live together again as community in harmony with the elements in a loving embrace with our Mother Gaia. All of the right people and circumstances are present. This is not a project we can take on alone.

Allow it to become more and more clear what you are dreaming into this collective dream. What am I being asked to bring and what must be left behind in the compost?

Unifier festival in MA

What a life!
It is really an amazing gift to be able to travel these days and share the gift of balanced breathing with so many amazing people. The more I travel the more I realize the importance of turtle speed and self love and care. I give thanks for the wonderful friends who invite me to ground down, rest and nourish while on the road.
We just co-created an amazing festival called Unifier just outside Boston MA. Wow! Deep bow to Jason Cohen who is the visionary and Director/Leader of this festival! It really does take a tribe. I had the pleasure of not only sharing the BreathWave but also constructing and pouring a sweat lodge. The lodge was the largest womb I have ever built with it being about 20ft. in diameter and we had groups of 40-50 people, sweating, singing, cleansing and praying. What wonderful collaborative medicine for the tribe! 13 Thank You’s to Grandmother Kaariina and our elder Jim for their medicine ✨
The Breath workshop was a special pleasure to have 2 pregnant Mommy’s who are both dear friends carrying the little teachers to be of 2 amazing brothers including our amazing Chef Captain Kale and our fearless leader Jason. We had a powerful women named Dona Ho join us with beautiful song, invocations and prayers for the overall healing and self realization that took place. I am so grateful to be able to bring the breath to these gatherings! The whole gathering was a powerful example of the magic we are capable of when we come together as family.
The festival was held on a gorgeous Girl Scout camp property in this Hemlock and line Forest on a lake with cozy cabins and catered with amazing food by Captain Kale, cosmos chocolate with Trithai and a few other vendors. The retail vendors brought a sweet variety of clothes jewelry and it wouldn’t have been the same without DJ – D.Johnson’s custom drums and flutes and his wife’s amazing hand made jewelry.
Nahko Bear rocked an amazing acoustic set to only 500 people stuffed into a lodge sitting around a fire in the centre after he called in the thunder beings and the main stage got rained out. This was a highlight for us all!
Deep thanks to all who attended and I look forward to returning for our continued growth and evolution as a global family at this festival each and every year! Highly recommended to everyone! Especially those living on the east coast.
