The Breath Between Us
A couples retreat to restore and deepen the love between us
with Robin Clements & Trevor Warren
Cowichan Lake, BC · January 15–17, 2027
About the Retreat
Even deeply loving couples can become caught in patterns of conflict, defensiveness and emotional distance. Over time, partners may lose the ability to truly hear one another and the connection they once shared can begin to feel inaccessible.
In this experiential weekend, Breathwave founder Robin Clements and relationship and intimacy therapist Trevor Warren bring together conscious connected breathing, practical communication tools and guided dyadic practices. Breathwork will help participants soften protective patterns, regulate the nervous system and become more present to themselves. Relational practices will then support couples in expressing what matters, listening with greater openness and meeting one another beneath their familiar reactions.
Couples will be invited to slow down, breathe, speak honestly and rediscover the felt experience of connection. This workshop is designed for partners who feel disconnected or caught in recurring struggles, as well as couples who simply want to deepen the intimacy, awareness and aliveness within their relationship.
Where Will We Be?
We will gather in a private waterfront home on Cowichan Lake. Each couple will be held in separate rooms in a gorgeous $2 million waterfront home equipped with high-end accommodations, a 14 ft hot tub, cedar sauna and lake access.
- Arrival: Friday, January 15 at 4:00 pm
